Savage Affiliates 2.0 Review – Is it really a scam?

In this Savage Affiliates 2.0 Review, I will talk about a product that is made by Franklin Hatchett. Right of the bat I have to say, it is one of the most affordable affiliate trainings out there. For 297$ it contains almost every approach in regards to affiliate marketing. Clickfunnels, paid traffic, free traffic, building a website, real-life case studies, amazon affiliate marketing and many more.

There are 10 modules with 30+ hours of video material. But not only the training has its good sides, Franklin himself is a very likable guy. As a teacher, he seems very calm, direct, and down to earth and doesn’t brag with his success at all (not like some of other self-proclaimed gurus nowadays).

At the beginning, I was a bit suspicious. In his sales video, Franklin was presenting comments of users that were telling how good the training was, which is usually a sign of paid or fake comments. In addition to that, he said that the price of his product is “constantly going up”. Which is another big scam alert. But after going deeper into the program, I was able to realize that the training is a well-put-together product. Plese read the review below to get more details about the program.

Pros vs Cons

  • (+)
    • 30 days action based refund policy
    • Very affordable price in comparison to other affiliate trainings (around 1000$)
    • Training is broken down in step by step pieces (learning over the shoulder)
    • Franklin is trustworthy and stands behind his product
  • (-)
    • Doesn’t offer a free trial
    • Many tools and extras have to be taken care of outside of the program. That isn’t explained upfront
    • Does only offer Facebook inner circle and email support (many users report about long response times)

Who is this membership intended to help?

The membership is for complete beginners but also experts find value in savage affiliate 2.0. In my eyes, the course gives value to a wide range of marketers. The modules are broken down in such detail, that every one of them is almost whole training by itself. You can say that Franklin created the course for everybody who is interested in affiliate marketing.

This is great but…

On the one hand, this is great. Because as an owner of the product you reach a wide range of people what ends up in more sales. But on the other hand, you have to keep in mind that you are able to support and satisfy every user. Otherwise, it makes no sense to get a lot of people into your training but only lead 10% of them to success.

The training is for everybody (beginners and experts) who want to start an affiliate marketing business or improve their existing one.

How is the support of Savage Affiliates?

Savage affiliates has two support channels. One via E-mail tickets and the other one is an inner circle Facebook group.

The support via E-mail is a little bit poor. Some customers report about long response times (around 1 week). In addition to that, it is not sure if Franklin himself is answering those requests.

On the other hand, the Facebook inner circle group is quite active and some questions are even answered by Franklin himself. Or at least by his Facebook profile.

Like I mentioned above, it is important to satisfy every user if you create a product for a wide range of people. I think Franklin has made a great product, but unfortunately didn’t spend enough time on finding a proper way to connect to his members. In my eyes, this is a critical point, because as a beginner it is important to know that you have a helping hand close by. Otherwise, you might feel left alone and a big chance to quit.

What is included in the Tools and Training?

When you enter the member area you will find 10 modules. Each module covers a different area of affiliate marketing. This is how it looks like:

  • Savage Affiliate Standard
    • Affiliate marketing introduction
    • Affiliate Products to promote
    • Building Website Asset
    • SEO Google Traffic Training
    • Email Automation Academy
    • Free Traffic
    • Paid Traffic
    • Student Case Study
    • Amazon Affiliate Marketing
    • Bonuses
  • Savage Affiliates 2.0 (In Addition to upper content)
    • Done-For-You Affiliates System
    • Launch Jacking & Web Hosting Blueprint
    • Funnel Academy

What I have already mentioned at the beginning: it is a very thorough created training. Each module consists of many hours of step-by-step instructions and is almost a whole program by itself. The videos are created in a way that you are able to learn “over the shoulder”. As a viewer, you just have to replicate what Franklin is doing.

How is the Pricing & Refund of the program?

The program has two memberships. The first one is the standard one and costs 197$ and the second one is the upgrade (2.0) and is priced at 297$. Now the question is, are the 100$ worth it to invest?

If you are a beginner definitely not. The upgrade contains a lot of done for you packages (of what I am definitely not a fan of) and complicated strategies that can be quite overwhelming for beginners.

The whole training is already a lot to digest. I recommend the additional part only for experts that want to improve their sales techniques with funnels and launch jacking.

Refund Policy

The training has a refund policy of 30 days. What is common for those kinds of programs nowadays.

In his sales video, Franklin says that it is an action-based refund policy. That means that the customer can get the refund only if he has made it through 50% of the training. At the first sight, this might be a warning sign for many, but I think this is good because it is an additional motivation for taking action after purchasing it. And it also shows how confident he is about his product.

I think he just might have added some information about the meaning of an action-based refund. Otherwise, it might be a little bit surprising for those who expect a common refund policy.

If you buy this course you will have to keep in mind that there will be additional charges for Webhosting (15-20$ annually), keyword tools (60-100$ monthly), click funnels (20-100$ monthly), and some other tools. If you want to try out paid traffic you will have to use your own money and this can vary from 100-1000$ (to start out).

In my eyes, those investments are inevitable to run a successful business BUT as a beginner, you don’t know that. So, it can be quite frustrating if you are just starting out and think that your investment ends by purchasing the program. Franklin doesn’t mention those extra charges anywhere in his sales material. This kind of discretion is unfortunately very common in the industry.

Of course, if someone would tell you that additional costs of 200-1000$ lie ahead of you, you would think twice before purchasing the program.

My final words on the Savage Affiliates 2.0 Training

All in all, it is a very thorough program that helps not only newbies to become good at affiliate marketing but is also designed for intermediates and experts. What I like is that Franklin is a very down-to-earth guy and shares really valuable knowledge with his users. In addition to that, he doesn’t promise overnight rich techniques what makes him much more trustworthy in comparison to other online marketing gurus.

What I think Franklin could have done better, is the support aspect of his program. Many users, especially newbies, need a helping hand at the beginning. It is less a material but more a personal aspect. It is always good to know that if you get stuck you can count on the teacher or a community. I think that Franklin has missed this point because of his overly strong focus on making the training as informational as possible.

A good point is that the training gives a lot of value for its price. Other programs are usually 4x more expensive (1000$ range) and provide more or less the same amount of information.

Overall it is a very good training and one of the better programs out there. It covers all aspects of affiliate marketing and even beyond. If you are a beginner or an intermediate, you will find a great amount of training for 297$. You just might have to work more on your own (research questions by yourself) and reckon with some extra money if you want to do certain training modules.

  1. Hello, thank you so much for sharing this review of Savage of Affiliates 2.0. It seems to be a good platform which is worth joining for the success of my website because attracting traffic is the most important aspect. It’s nice to know about Franklin and his good character, and most importantly, that he shares valuable knowledge to his users. This is fantastic indeed.

    • Hey Kokontala,

yes exactly. Savage Affiliates 2.0 is worth joining but you have to keep in mind that the support consists of a facebook inner circle group. In addition to that, you have to be aware that charges for Clickbank and other tools may occur (if you choose for this strategy).

But all in all it is a very informational training.

      Thank you for passing by

      All the best,

  2. Very interesting article. I’m just starting my adventure with digital marketing and post like this are extremely helpful. I read a bit before about Savage Affiliates and to be fair opinions were very mixed. At the beginning it looked a bit expensive to me, but after your detailed review I think its worth give it a try.

    • Hey Cogito,

I hope your adventure is going well and you start seeing successes.

Indeed, the opinions vary from publisher to publisher. Everybody makes his own experiences with the program and I think this is good because thereby the reader has a great variety of information to make himself a solid picture of the training before purchasing it.

As I already told Kokontala, you have to keep in mind that after purchasing the program you will still have charges for further tools like Clickbank in order to make use of the training. So, I would suggest maybe check for another program if you think that this one is a bit expensive. For example, my #1 recommended training (you can read the review here… ) starts at 49$ per month and even has a 7 days free trial. In addition to that, it works with free traffic so there are no additional charges in the future. Maybe this is something that is more appealing to you.

If you still have questions, you can of course always contact me here or via my private e-mail in the About Me section.

Until there, thank you for passing by and all the best,

  3. After reading your review of Savage Affiliate 2.0 Review still think it’s best for me to avoid it even though the price may be affordable for some. Before I give anyone credit card information would like to see the free trial, as most individuals with programs like this do not honor their promise of a 30-day money-back guarantee!

Secondly, I travel for my work, the video tutorials will eat up my cell phone data! The 2 levels of affiliate options is relatively high for just video tutorials compared to other training platforms that offer lots more and free trails.

    • Hi Jannette, thanks for reading and for your comments. It is always best to take a closer look to Affiliate programs befor embarking into a new project. That´s the main point of these posts, trying to alert people before they lose time and money.

  4. I don’t know this program but I liked what I saw. However, compared to WA where you pay for the premium membership for $40ish, and get the whole package, I believe that this program is more expensive. Also, the lack of support is a shame as I believe that beginners really have questions and need to have answers. Afterwards, if suscribers are happy and if they go forward with their business, that’s the most important.

    • Hi there! That´s correct, there are some programs that provide further information to begginers. If you are pretty new in the business, it is recommended to find a program that provides assistance in order to avoid losing time and money.

      Thanks for reading,
